Thiess Services is a preferred ‘National Return and Disposal of Unwanted Medicines Ltd (NRUM)' collection service, a national organisation established by the Commonwealth Department of Health to undertake the collection and destruction of unwanted and out-of-date medicines from the Australian community.
The disposal of biohazardous waste collection encompasses some of the following categories:
Sharps, biological fluids or tissues
Microbial cultures and material contaminated by such cultures
Disposal and elimination of defence waste
Containers or materials saturated with unsafe human products
Our biohazardous waste disposal services are provided to Hospitals, Government entities and commercial clients, some of our clients include:
